The HR Coordinator will be responsible for and assist in the operation of the company’s HR function, under the direction of the HR team. This position is responsible for recruitment, and onboarding, employment processing, personnel records management and compliance with all state and federal laws relating to personnel. This position works with senior management in the support of employee training and the promotion of company culture and core values.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as the primary coordinator for recruiting and new employee onboarding.
- Maintain personnel files in accordance with state and federal laws and HR management best practices.
- Assist management with employee performance management issues.
- Assist in various payroll functions, as assigned.
- Coordinate annual employee training, wellness screenings, benefit reviews and Benefits' open enrollment.
- Maintain compliance with FMLA, ADA, FLSA, IRCA and any other Federal and State of Oklahoma labor laws.
- Assist the corporate HR Manager with implementation of Employee Handbook changes and updates.
- Other duties as assigned by the HR Manager and Senior Leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- At least two years of experience with direct HR functions including labor law compliance, maintenance of personnel records, insurance eligibility and renewals, and other functions that apply to the efficient operation of a human resources office.
- Proven organization skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the ability to handle complex employee relations situations with tact and discretion with the support of HR leadership.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the best interests of the company with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically.
- Intermediate skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience with direct HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, labor law compliance, FMLA, maintenance of personnel records, insurance eligibility and renewals, with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion. Previous experience with Open Enrollment, conducting Employee meetings and trainings.
