We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Business Development Manager. This role combines critical elements of product development, project analysis, and customer relationship management to ensure our processes are efficient, our pricing is competitive, and our customers receive unparalleled support.
- Review and optimize current processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Update and manage product-pricing strategies to ensure market competitiveness.
- Draft and manage customer contracts, including developing cost/price estimates and pricing models.
- Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams, assisting with strategies and resolving customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and sales, to align on product development and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, including managing cost adjustments due to scope changes.
- Provide strategic insights to guide production and sales efforts.
- Analyze product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and verify pricing and terms for customer service teams based on customer history.
- Education & Experience:
- College degree or at least 4 years’ experience in a related field.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (rubber or plastic molding preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and standard practices.
- Proficiency with standard software, including ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills for creating, maintaining, and manipulating data.
- Strong skills in process optimization, pricing strategies, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric focus.
